Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Today is a great holiday for me because I LOVE the color green.
Lush green foliage, leaping frogs, verdant meadows, clover leaves, my eyes…
the renewal of life is embodied in the color green.
Below I’ve added my recipe for Shamrock Shakeology to give you a bit of green good luck for your St. Patrick’s Day, as well as a couple recipes for some fun, healthy treats.
5oz Almond milk (or 10 oz Almond milk and no water)
5 oz Water
2 Dates (preferred, or you could sub 2 tsp honey/ maple syrup)
1/2 Tbs PB2 or peanut butter
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp almond extract
1 cup ice
green food coloring
green sprinkles (optional)
- Add all ingredients except sprinkles to blender. Blend until smooth. Add sprinkles and enjoy!

- Any recipe that calls for pesto (noodles, zoodles, stuffed mushrooms or avocados, etc.)
